WOODEN JEWELLERY
It is promoted and realized by the contemporary association Gioiellodentro in collaboration with the Municipality of Drena, Department of Culture, the second edition of the international exhibition wooden jewellery, curated by Francesca Canapa, will be open to the public from 7 to 29 September 2019.
From an idea of the curator Francesca Canapa, the exhibition is dedicated to the wooden jewelry.
Transforming wood into jewelry, this was the task of the participating artists, who gave life to jewels that lead us to reflect on the beauty of this element, which accompanies us since antiquity, and it’s an integral part of our lives.
Twenty-three artists, from twelve States (Argentina, Belgium, Costa Rica, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Nuevo Leon Mexico, Netherlands, Serbia, Spain, United States), for a total of thirty-two works that will be exhibited in the exhibition.
Guests of the exhibition the works of the artists: Elvio Pederzolli and Moreno Togni.
.The Drena Castle surrounded by nature is the perfect setting for this exhibition. The Castle is home to an archaeological museum and inside the rooms there are exhibitions of contemporary artists, instead from the top of its fourteenth-century tower, 25 meters high, you can admire the striking stone of the Marocche.
