Sabrina Bottura è nata in Italia nel 1970. Ha conseguito il diploma di Grafica pubblicitaria nel 1986, diplomandosi successivamente anche al Liceo Artistico Statale “U.Boccioni” di Verona – Sezione Accademia.
Appassionata di oreficeria ha frequentato per tre anni un corso a Bolzano e successivi vari corsi di specializzazione in tecniche orafe, gemmologia e taglio di pietre preziose ottenendo diverse certificazioni di competenza .
A partire dal 2002, ha frequentato corsi di tecniche del feltro tenuti da maestri feltrai anche di fama internazionale.
Nasce poi un percorso e una ricerca personale che le hanno permesso di “mettere in simbiosi” le sue due più grandi passioni: l’ oreficeria e l’ arte feltraia.
Sabrina espone le sue creazioni nella galleria munzis operart ( www.munzisoperart.com ) a Verona.
Nell’ ultimo biennio ha partecipato a diverse mostre ed iniziative tra le quali:

About my work
Sabrina nelle sue creazioni abbina il rame, l' argento o l’ oro, lucidato e non, con elementi "allo stato naturale", prevalentemente feltro (un tessuto non tessuto ottenuto dalla lana cardata, opportunamente lavorata a mano, tipico delle regioni del nord ) e pietre semi preziose levigate o allo stato grezzo.
Per Sabrina il gioiello contemporaneo "non è solo metallo" ma una simbiosi tra questo e altri materiali "arcaici" come la lana e le pietre preziose e non.
Gli oggetti che realizza vogliono esprimere primordiali sentimenti e stati d'animo che si manifestano mediante un particolare accostamento tra superficie grezza, colore e texture.

About my work
Sabrina in his creations combines copper, silver or gold, polished or not, with elements that are in a “natural state”, mainly felt (that is a non-woven fabric made from carded wool, hand-crafted appropriately, typical of the north ) and rough or smooth semi-precious stones.
For Sabrina, contemporary jewelry "is not just metal," but a symbiotic relationship between this material and other "archaic" as wool and precious, or not precious stones.
The objects that she realizes want to express primordial feelings and moods that manifest themselves through a particular combination of rough surface, color and texture.
